Grant Identification

I find grants aligned with the clients’ focus and services. Project manage a grant tracker that shows opportunities, submitted proposals, and outcomes.

Grant Writing & Submission

This typically involves drafting a narrative proposal, developing a budget, collecting paper work required by that funder, and submitting according to the grant requirements.

Data Consulting

Data consulting is to understand clients’ needs, impact, community of focus, services, and how they track their impact. I recommend improvements to their operations, especially related to data systems and evaluation.

Program Evaluation

Evaluating clients’ program and impact using mixed-method analyses (quantitative and qualitative measures and/or a quasi-experimental research design, if available). This provides data-driven insights to leadership, delivers information that will strengthen grant applications, and provides content for funders’ reporting requirements.

Data Storytelling

In addition to using the results of the program evaluation and consulting to apply for grants, I offer mixed materials that tell the story of an organization’s data. This could look like detailing the impact of their program to stakeholders, funders, and the community they intend to serve.
